Name: Kotonano Doi-U
Trainer Class: (is your character a trainer, coordinator, connoisseur, gym leader, Team Allele member? etc) Allele Scientist
Physical Description: (at least 100 words) Either a face of happiness, a face of confusion, or a face of a beautiful woman who's having a bad-hair day, those are the only faces this young lady can choose. Her eyes shine in an amethyst's color, and the dark purple can usually strike some love into a boy, though she doesn't like being called sexy or beautiful, she enjoys being called "Just Cute", instead.
Due to her partially accidental nature, her clothes usually consist of a brigade of cloth to protect her from scrapes and scars, but she can't help but wear a skirt, due to her wanting of being cute. Instead, she wears knee socks to protect her legs. Only her hands and thighs are usually seen with cuts and bruises.
She easily blushes but it's not noticeable all the time, sometimes when she blushes, she turns into a pale color. Her ponytails are just a few inches off her height, she is 5"6 while her ponytails are a Five-foot-flat. Her hair is similar to her eyes, only that the indigo is dyed in a brighter shade of blue. She usually has her Lab Coat on, no matter where she goes, and her blue shirt and purple skirt that compliments her eyes and hair.
Personality: (at least 200 words) An upbeat rhythm plays in her little heart
Being a bit ditzy no matter where she is and a klutz, these two aspects of this girl causes her to cause lots of chaos to the people around her. She's trying to be cute and all, but accidents do happen, and she just causes a handful.
As annoying it may be to the serious members of Team Allele, her jumpy, never-ending smile of joy and all her insane motions of affection and all she does just to get attention. She'll cartwheel, twirl, do the pirouette, jump repeatedly, scream, sing in a falsetto tone, and even bear hug you for five minutes if ever she's really happy... as cute as it is, it get's annoying, just ask some Allele members.
When she's confused, she will panic, she will scream, she will ask a Arceus-DAMNED amount of questions until she finally gets it done. This becomes a bit problematic as she IS a scientist of Team Allele, and when something hard comes up for her to study for, there goes her little amount of sanity.
However, she is highly obedient to someone who is her boss or bestfriend. When she is being ordered, her face quickly changes into a serious, straight-forward face. She will do the order no matter what obstacle comes her way, but after doing that order, she becomes her cheeky self
History: (at least 200 words) Kotonano was born in Hoenn, Rustboro City to be more precise. Both of her parents worked at the Devon Corporation, and thus, her addiction to science was great. She'd rank high in Pokemon Anatomy, or anything else scientific in Poke-School, and her zeal was so great, however, she knew too much, that most kids pranked her by asking her which chemicals explode and tell her to mix them, she was blamed for the accident later on.
She was picked on a lot. Her hair was weird and really long, but she refused to cut her large pigtails. Her eyes were different than the "cool" children's brown or blue eyes. She went through all these, but she went on, without shedding a single tear. She just hid behind a Stepford Smile and never let it go.
It turned out she had minimal Alzheimer's Disease at such a young age. It affected her grades, if it wasn't for that disease, she would have ranked top in school. She lost track of a lot of things, and usually forgot lots of important events at school and she continued to get her grades down, but it was enough that she could get through school.
In college, she went to have a science course. Of course, it was what her parents did, and she dreamed of this her whole life. Like always, she was picked on. During lunch, bullies would step on her hair and make her trip. People asked for her lunch money, because she didn't like to fight back, and she continued to hold in all her tears.
There, in that school, she met a boy of his dreams. He was a cheeky boy, and his baby face charmed her every lunch. She would stare at him for hours, and sometimes forget the lesson, but it was all worth it to see his smile that was as cute as a puppy.
But remember, Love is a deadly thing. Slowly, her grades diminished, and with her forgetfulness she started getting F's. She would only remember remember her lessons after the exams. She begged and begged to the professors, but since she was a bit of a trouble-maker in class due to her accidental "ability", the professors didn't believe her.
Her father once told her, when you love someone, you just need 28 seconds of crazy courage to tell someone that you love him or her. She took the advice and came to the boy. Her cheeks were flushed in a pinkish red, her legs wobbled in fear, but inside she was jumping with excitement.
"I love you... Just say it!"
That's all she needed. 16 seconds left! What was she gonna do, come on, she could do it. She took in a deep breath, and took away all her emotions of embarassement, and she quickly said the words.
"Can you help me study!"
Damn it! Alzheimer's really gets you... But that was enough. The boy said yes, and the bright-minded and bright-eyed boy, showed her the works. Things that could enhance memories, her grades rose up, and she took her to secret dates (they ate, but she only said it was to thank him.)
She had another chance. The boy was just a few inches before she loved him, she could do this! Thus, while taking him to a secret date, she got another 28 seconds. It was enough, she could do this once more time. She gulped in a large amount of air and did a speech.
"This isn't just something to thank you with." She caught the boy's attention.
"This is a date... and I... L... LOVE YOU!"
Not much of a speech but her shout echoed around the restaurant, but not many people looked at her. She stood their awkwardly, and waited for him to reply and he just showed her that bright smile, and said bitter-sweet words.
"I like you, but... it's not enough." Her eyes widened, and her heart cracked "Your weird, and I just can't take that." Now it just split into two "I'd love you if you were more normal!" It just broke into a million pieces.
She didn't prepare for that. Her heart had broke, and she started to get confused. Isn't what we've went through enough to call it love? She asked so many questions, and tears overflowed her eyes. She couldn't take it anymore, she has been picked on, bullied, but not like this. She didn't want to be bullied in a way that her heart would be broken.
She exited the restaurant, as tears overfilled her eyes. She swore she heard the boy say "I'm Sorry!", but she couldn't take it anymore. She loved him, but if she didn't like her, then she'd have to do EVERYTHING just for him to like him.
She came back to her house and slammed the door in regret. Her parents were on a night-out on their honeymoon, she hoped that she could bring the boy on that night so they could have their first kiss, but all those plans were broken now.
She took a knife from the shelf and proceeded to go to her room and locked the door. No, not like that, Kotonano was a nice girl, she knew people made accidents, so not suicide. Instead, she killed a part of her that everybody hated. She chopped of her pigtails as she proceeded to cry, she bawled as her pieces of hair fell on the bed.
She's been confused about concepts of living, and her hair's not as smooth as it used to be. Secretly, she still yearns for love, and so on the next day, Graduation Day, she came to the boy. She ran towards the school, students muttered as they pointed at her.
"Who's that girl?"
It was a rainy day, and she was drenched in her Lab Coat which had her dress inside for the graduation. She grumpily walked towards the arch which was the main entrance of the school, when she bumped into someone, dressed in a black suit and a tie with red and dark-red checkers.
She replied with a tear and as she looked up, it was him, the boy smiled, with teary eyes and a flower bouquet. It was her favorite flowers: Daylilies. The boy wiped of her tears and embraced her and asked for an apology, as they cried in their hold.
"I... I love you! I should have said from the start! I love you!"
She patted him and continuously to nod her head "I know."
"I love you... but..." "But"... Those are one of the worst words to end a proposal with. Her heart stopped for a while. Was he dating another girl, does he have a disease, what was it!? Arceus-damn it! Speak!
"I'm going to Kuhre."
The bell rang on the wrong time, and he quickly ran to setup for the graduation. They were three classes apart from each other, so it was impossible for Kotonano to see him, but he just wanted to see his cute little face one more time... just once...
When the graduation was over, and they threw their caps into the air, she jumpingly looked around for him, and spotted him. It was from behind but Kotonano knew his walk, and she chased after him, not minding the people she bumped into. She had to see him.
But alas, they were star-crossed lovers, but just one more peek of his face... that was all she needed. Tears began to swell from her eyes, as she took each step. The boy stepped into a black car and the engine roared. She was about to hold the car's door, but... but...
A bully tripped her, and she hit her face on the car. She continued to cry. Her face was never deformed in any way, but the scar in her heart never went out, like a scar and continued to stay there, no matter how much skin grew on it.
After she graduated, she simply became a parasite for her parents. It was nice and all to have their child around, but she wasn't lively anymore. She would spend her days thinking about him. Then one day she hit the breakfast table, and decided to stop being a parasite.
"I'm going to Kuhre to get a job."
She said, as her parents smiled. In the airport, she said her farewells. She wore her signature lab coat, skirt, and shirt, and got on the eighth flight to Kuhre.
The first town she got into was Thyme City. People said it was full of crime, and all the other gang stuff, but she didn't mind. She grew with enough bad people to not get used to it, she could protect herself no problem.
While walking down an alley, she found a giant building. She couldn't read the faded letters on the sign, but she was awe-struck as she saw what was written on the door.
And she quickly made her way in. She applied for the job, and her resume was good enough... ENOUGH!? But anyway, she finally went to her office and her boss asked if she needed anything, or wanted to ask anything, yes, she had something to ask.
What do I do here~?
She asked in a little girl voice, and she was told that she was in a Crime Syndicate. Team Allele to be more precise, and when she heard that, her soul fainted for five minutes, and her half-asleep body stared at her boss with wide eyes, it freaked him out for a while.
She was in a Crime Syndicate... of course, out of all the places to be put on! Come on, she would work in a parlor, than here! But, it was a job, and she already took it, she couldn't go on now, and she asked her boss the next day what she should do.
"Easy, you should do well with the study of Evolution via Happiness."
Simple enough, she could do it, lickety-split. How hard does studying evolution be so hard anyway? Well, ladies and gentlemen, it's like math. First, you'll tell it, it's easy, but years run by and it'll be so hard, you won't even have time to breath.
Her ability to test subjects, and mutate Pokemon into different species via happiness grew throughout the years. She wasn't a renowned scientist in the lab, but she was appraised by the lower scientists for her ability to follow anyone's commands, no matter how hard it was, perhaps was it because of that boy?
Nevertheless, even though she has this history, her cheerfulness is a very amazing sight in the Syndicate. Sure, she's caused explosions, electrical near-deaths, almost got ripped to shreds in the paper shredder, gave the wrong information on purpose because of her Alzheimer's Disease, made a baby Wailmer evolve at the wrong time, and used a defibrillator on someone because she thought he was dead, but her craziness is what can brighten up a day.
A lively member of Team Allele that you "can't" live without, Kotonano has a dark side with people she likes (*ehem*Loves*ehem*), but she'll always (mostly?) give you a smile with her catchphrase:
"WHAT DO YOU MEAN!?"
